If you are checking back to track your order, or thinking of placing an order from our store, please take note of the following important information.

SHIPPING:

Rates:

- U.A.E: Flat shipping rate of AED 20 applies on all orders within the U.A.E. Free local pick up available ( email us for more information)

- Rest of the world: Please email us at thepewterpearl@gmail.com to get shipping rates for other destinations.

 

Customs:

- Please refer to your country's regulations for custom charges and import duties on shipments from Canada. As a small business, WE WILL NOT PAY YOUR CUSTOM CHARGES if applicable. Each county has their own regulations and we cannot say which shipment will and will not be charged customs and import fees. Usually these charges are applicable on larger orders, on which we have already paid the shipping fees, so please do not expect us to cover your custom fees or import charges for you as well. 

Loss of package:

We do not accept responsibility of reimbursement for lost packages. Once an item has shipped, the onus lies on the shipping company. While we can help you provide information on the package in case of UNTRACKED shipments, we will not pursue the complaint or be held responsible for retrieving or reimbursing your package.

PRODUCT CONDITION AND CARE:

Condition:

- Most of our products are hand made, embellished and painted. This means that the product you receive will not have perfectly straight lines and patterns like a machine made piece.

There are bound to be some imperfections, and some pieces may have minor differences than the display picture. There also might be a slight color difference. Slight bents and discoloration of the earring posts are also normal. Some of our pieces have scratches and imperfect surfaces, in theme with the antique or rustic look we are deliberately trying to achieve. How ever if the product is obviously damaged or defected, we offer refunds in line with our Exchange and refund policy

Care:

- Please keep all products away from sweat, perfume and extreme weather conditions. Also avoid contact with chemicals such as cleaning products. Store them in dust bags or jewellery boxes, preferably on a card, to avoid surface rubbing and scratching.

 

PACKAGING:

- We pack all of our jewelry on earring cards and pouches, after which it is secured in a hard box, and sealed in a bubble mailer. For larger orders, WE WILL TRY TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYTHING IN ONE BOX to save the customer shipping costs. Shipping costs go up not only with weight, but also with the overall size of the package. We try to keep this at a minimum to SAVE YOUR MONEY. 

If however, you require your order to be packed in a certain way, with additional boxes/pouches, PLEASE MENTION IT IN THE ADD A NOTE SECTION during checkout and we will follow your instructions to the best of our abilities.
